To find out what system you have
Press "NAV" on your I-Drive controller
Click "OPTIONS" on your I-Drive controller
Scroll down to "NAVIGATION SYSTEM VERSION".
You will see something like "ECE BMW 1.5.20 NBT ROAD MAP EUROPE PREMIUM 2014-1".
You’re specifically looking for the word: "WAY" "NEXT" "PREMIUM" "MOVE" "MOTION” “ROUTE” or “EVO
WE WILL ALSO NEED YEAR AND MODEL OF YOUR CAR, AND YOUR VIN NUMBER TO SUPPLY YOU WITH YOUR FSC SECURITY CODE. THE VIN CAN BE FOUND IN A STICKER ON THE LOWER PASSENGER SIDE OF YOUR WINDSCREEN, OR ON YOUR V5 LOGBOOK.
WITHOUT THE FSC CODE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPDATE YOUR MAPS.
