Click "OPTIONS" on your I-Drive controller
Scroll down to "NAVIGATION SYSTEM VERSION".
You will see something like "ECE BMW 1.5.20 NBT ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2014-1".
You’re specifically looking for the word: "WAY" "NEXT" "PREMIUM" "MOVE" "MOTION” “ROUTE” or “EVO
.
WE WILL ALSO NEED YEAR AND MODEL OF YOUR CAR, AND THE 17 DIGITS OF YOUR VIN NUMBER TO SUPPLY YOU WITH YOUR FSC SECURITY CODE. THE VIN CAN BE FOUND IN A STICKER ON THE LOWER PASSENGER SIDE OF YOUR WINDSCREEN, OR ON YOUR V5 LOGBOOK.
WITHOUT THE FSC CODE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPDATE YOUR MAPS.
